Rustic Easter Bunny Napkin Rings – Get Hopping! Make this simple craft for your own Easter table or buffet!
Easter is the perfect time to get together with family to enjoy a brunch or dinner. And what better way to add a little fun to the table than with little Rustic Easter Bunny Napkin Rings…adorable and functional too! The cute little bunny ears stand straight up, and who can resist the little white tails?
A few years ago I featured this project on my other blog, Must Love Home. Every year since, they have been such a hit with the kids that I wanted to share this with you again!
Here are the materials you will need:
8 basic burlap napkin rings
1-1/2 yards of ribbon
small white pom poms
12 inch square of pink felt
I purchased everything for this craft at Michael’s. Note – I had high hopes for using the Modge Pod in the photo, but quickly switched over to a glue gun…it was so much faster and easier.
To start, cut out 16 pink felt rabbit ears. I just traced one of the burlap ears, and cut out the felt about 1/4 inch smaller all of the way around. Then, cut 8 pieces of ribbon to a length long enough to wrap around the burlap ring, about 6 inches.
Using the glue gun, place a small bead of glue on each felt ear and glue the ear in place. Squeeze a bead of glue all the way around each napkin ring and place the ribbon on the glue.
As the last step, glue a white pom pom “bunny tail” on each napkin ring where the ends of the ribbon meet.
