Easy Baby Shower Centerpieces are just what you need for a casual or outdoor baby shower. Perfect for a BBQ Baby Shower for a Boy and only cost pennies each to make!

Hey guys! Today is about how to make a really budget friendly baby shower centerpiece. Last weekend I hosted a BBQ Baby Shower for my son Michael and his wife Allison.  Since this is their first child and my first grandson my heart was really tied up in this party. So that all of our friends and family would feel comfortable I decided to throw a simple co-ed baby shower in our backyard.

Hosting a baby shower is a lot of fun, but it is easy to get lost in all of the cute decorations and ideas that are out there. My shoe string party budget meant that I had to get creative so I headed out looking for ideas.  The party stores did not have anything that spoke to me,  so next I headed to the dollar store. I was looking for those little picks you stick in cupcakes when I spotted little blue strollers instead. The strollers come three to a package for $1. I also found 2 rolls of blue gingham ribbon.

Back at home, I got into my stash of empty jars and got lucky by finding nine that were about the same size. Each of the jars got 2 coats of white craft paint. Next, I tied the gingham ribbon in a bow. Then, I threaded the bow knot thru the stroller handle to attach it. On the morning of the party, I cut roses from bushes in my yard, added water and “Viola”, simple centerpieces that cost about 50 cents each. Here’s a peek at how cute the “country baby” centerpieces looked on the tables.
