Hey guys! Today is about how to make a really budget friendly baby shower centerpiece. Last weekend I hosted a BBQ Baby Shower for my son Michael and his wife Allison. Since this is their first child and my first grandson my heart was really tied up in this party. So that all of our friends and family would feel comfortable I decided to throw a simple co-ed baby shower in our backyard.
Hosting a baby shower is a lot of fun, but it is easy to get lost in all of the cute decorations and ideas that are out there. My shoe string party budget meant that I had to get creative so I headed out looking for ideas. The party stores did not have anything that spoke to me, so next I headed to the dollar store. I was looking for those little picks you stick in cupcakes when I spotted little blue strollers instead. The strollers come three to a package for $1. I also found 2 rolls of blue gingham ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by my little blog today! I really appreciate it! Stay tuned for more pictures and ideas from the baby shower!
